I work with individuals who feel stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, emotionally overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves and others. Many struggle with insecure attachment, emotional reactivity, anger, communication difficulties, or unresolved trauma that continues to impact their relationships, self-worth, and overall sense of fulfillment. Often, they know something needs to change but feel unsure how to break the cycle on their own.

I use an attachment-focused, solution-oriented approach to help clients better understand their emotional patterns, regulate their nervous systems, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Therapy is tailored to each client’s unique experiences, goals, and challenges while providing practical tools that support meaningful and lasting change.

Clients gain deeper self-awareness, improve communication, and learn how to create healthier, more secure relationships. They begin to respond to life with greater confidence and emotional balance, feel more connected in their relationships, and develop the skills needed to move forward with clarity, purpose, and self-trust.

Experience Pablo is a Certified Professional Life Coach, Certified Anger Management Professional, Domestic Violence Specialist, Certified Mindfulness Teacher, and holds a certification in Attachment-Focused Adult Psychotherapy.

His work is deeply rooted in both professional training and lived experience. Through his own struggles with emotional pain, unhealthy relationship patterns, and feelings of isolation, Pablo came to understand how transformative self-awareness, healing, and personal growth can be. His personal journey inspired a deep passion for helping others create meaningful and lasting change in their own lives.

Pablo approaches therapy with optimism, compassion, and honesty, creating a space where clients feel supported without judgment. He believes therapy should not only provide insight, but also practical strategies that help clients take action and move toward healthier relationships, greater emotional balance, and a more fulfilling life.

His work focuses on helping clients recognize insecure attachment patterns, regulate emotional reactivity, strengthen communication skills, and build deeper connections with themselves and others. Pablo believes that healing is possible for anyone willing to do the work, and he is committed to helping clients feel less alone as they navigate that journey.

More than just my work I’m passionate about personal growth, mindfulness, and helping people create healthier relationships. Outside of my work, I value meaningful connections, self-reflection, and spending quality time with the people I love. I strongly believe that healing and growth are lifelong journeys, and that even small changes can create powerful transformations over time.

You may be the person everyone else turns to… the dependable one, the caregiver, the one who keeps the peace and ensures that everyone else is taken care of. But beneath the surface, you feel exhausted, lonely, and constantly on alert. It feels like everyone else has it figured out, while you’re burning yourself out trying to keep up with life’s demands. You may find yourself wishing someone else would give you the energy that you constantly give out to other people. What can feel especially frustrating is that you may already recognize the pattern, and yet you still find yourself repeating it again and again in your relationships.

These experiences may feel especially familiar to members of the LGBTQ+ community. Perhaps you learned that staying safe meant keeping parts of yourself small, avoiding conflict, or prioritizing other people’s comfort at the expense of your own peace of mind.

In my work with clients, I aim to gently get to know you and understand how your experiences and relationship patterns continue to shape the way you see yourself, connect with others, and respond to stress. Together, we can work toward greater self-awareness, emotional safety, and compassion for the parts of you that learned to survive by pleasing others, keeping quiet, staying independent, or constantly anticipating what could go wrong.

My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed. I believe that meaningful change does not come from forcing new habits or ignoring the experiences that brought you to this point. Instead, therapy is meant to offer a safe space to better understand your patterns, reconnect with your needs, and build the self-trust to make decisions that reflect who you are today.

My goal is to help you build a stronger, more compassionate relationship with yourself. Over time, this may mean feeling less responsible for others’ emotions, communicating your needs without guilt, recognizing when a relationship is asking you to abandon yourself, and making choices with greater clarity. Ultimately, I hope to help you build a life in which you feel safe enough to be authentic, connected, and fully present.

More Than Just My Work Outside of my work, I am an avid gamer, reader, gym-goer, and hot yoga enthusiast. These activities give me different ways to slow down, challenge myself, recharge, and reconnect with who I am beyond my professional role.

I am especially drawn to stories, whether they are found in books, games, music, or everyday conversation. I am always struck by how a meaningful piece of art can help us see ourselves more clearly by inviting us into other people’s perspectives.

Maybe your mind always seems to be one step ahead, imagining what could go wrong. You replay conversations, worry about things that haven’t happened yet, struggle to make decisions, or feel your heart race over situations that other people seem to handle with ease. Even when you know logically that you’re safe, your body doesn’t always seem to get the message.

For some people, anxiety becomes especially intense around their health or medical care. Maybe you’ve been putting off a dental appointment for months because just thinking about sitting in the chair makes your stomach tighten. Perhaps needles, medical tests, procedures, unfamiliar sensations, or waiting for results leave you feeling panicked or out of control. You might even feel embarrassed about your fear or worry that healthcare providers won’t understand how overwhelming it feels.

Anxiety can also show up in relationships, school, parenting, social situations, major life changes, or seemingly out of nowhere. However it appears, constantly anticipating, worrying, and trying to keep everything under control can be exhausting.

I provide a warm, client-centred, non-judgmental space where you can slow things down and understand what is happening beneath your anxiety. Together, we can identify the thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and patterns that keep anxiety going while developing practical strategies to help you feel calmer and more grounded when it shows up.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a dental hygienist, where I regularly supported patients who felt nervous, fearful, or overwhelmed about dental treatment. I learned how powerful it can be to have someone remain calm beside you, listen without judgment, help you feel grounded, and give you the space you need to regain a sense of control. I bring that same patience and understanding to my work as a therapist.

My goal is not simply to help you avoid the things that make you anxious. It is to help you build confidence in your ability to cope with anxiety when it arises. Over time, you can begin to understand your anxiety rather than fear it, feel more grounded in your body, trust yourself in difficult moments, and approach situations you once avoided with greater confidence. Whether that means finally booking the dental appointment you’ve been dreading, feeling calmer before a medical procedure, worrying less about what others think, or simply getting through your day without your mind constantly jumping to the worst-case scenario, we can work toward helping anxiety take up less space in your life.

Sometimes the hardest experiences are the ones you feel like you should be handling better. You may be lying awake worrying about your child, questioning whether you’re making the right decisions as a parent, or struggling with the emotions surrounding infertility or growing your family through adoption.

Or perhaps you were adopted yourself and find yourself wrestling with questions about identity, belonging, family, or where you fit. You may feel caught between different parts of your story, curious or conflicted about your birth family, or carrying feelings of grief, loss, rejection, or disconnection that can be difficult to explain to others. These questions can emerge in childhood, adolescence, or much later in adulthood, sometimes when you least expect them.

You might also be navigating complicated family relationships or a major life transition and feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply exhausted from carrying so much.

For children and teens, these feelings may be harder to put into words. Instead, parents might notice anxiety, big emotions, withdrawal, changes in behaviour, questions about identity or belonging, or difficulty coping with changes at home, school, or within the family.

I provide a warm, client-centred, non-judgmental space where children, adults, and families can feel heard and understood. Together, we explore the emotions and experiences underneath what is happening, including how relationships, attachment, and past experiences may be influencing the present.

I have a particular interest in supporting people navigating adoption-related experiences, parenting challenges, infertility, family relationships, anxiety, and significant life transitions.

My goal is to help you feel less overwhelmed and more confident in your ability to handle what comes next. For parents and families, this may mean feeling more connected, understanding one another better, and responding to challenges with greater confidence. For individuals, it may mean developing greater clarity, self-trust, and emotional resilience so that life feels more manageable again.

I work with clients who feel stuck and discouraged in their romantic lives. Some are single and find themselves repeating unhealthy dating patterns without understanding why, while others are in relationships that feel filled with conflict, disconnection, or uncertainty. In both cases, they often feel overwhelmed and unsure how to move forward on their own.

I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand their unique relationship patterns, emotional needs, and relational dynamics. Therapy is tailored to each individual so we can explore their experiences in a way that feels relevant, supportive, and actionable.

Clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the patterns shaping their relationships. They begin to recognize who they are drawn to and why, learn how to balance their own needs with those of their partner, and develop the ability to create relationships that feel secure, mutual, and emotionally fulfilling.

Experience: Rebecca is a counsellor with a diploma in Psychotherapy from The Living Institute and holds a BFA (Honours) from York University. She has additional certifications in Attachment-Focused Adult Psychotherapy, Anger Management, and Domestic Violence.

Rebecca’s work is deeply informed by both her professional training and her lived experience. Having experienced childhood trauma that led to an insecure attachment style, she spent years struggling with friendships and romantic relationships. Through her own therapeutic journey, she developed a secure attachment style and built a strong, lasting partnership with her husband.

Their relationship, while deeply committed, went through significant challenges that required individual growth on both sides. Rebecca’s personal healing created meaningful change, and over time, her partner also pursued therapy and his own transformation. Together, they cultivated a relationship that is now secure, connected, and deeply fulfilling.

Rebecca believes that this combination of clinical training and lived experience allows her to guide clients with both insight and authenticity as they work toward creating healthier relationships with themselves and others.
